Please get back to arguing about whether the earth is flat. I occasionally browse this thread for the comedy value and insulting each other with memes and image macros just don't do it for me.
Too bad you refuse to join the conversation. I'm not able to get on as much lately, sorry to all for any delays.
@AlwaysCorrect Tbh this entire thread went from a discussion about the flat Earth to fallacious fights about religion and meme wars

@Erfisflat I find it very interesting you admit to google searching all of this flat Earth "research", yet you are mocking people for trusting their science books.

Maybe if you could add something that was scientific I would give you some credit. Instead it's all NASA is lie in Hebrew, I need a tinfoil hat, UN is stopping us from finding out the flat world truth in Antarctica, we don't know why that is, we don't know why they are stopping us, perspective is the reason trash floats, and refraction is why men have penises or some such s***.

It's a picture, the proof that it's absurd is in the picture. I can show you many many pictures of the curvature of the earth that are good enough quality to discern the curvature just ask. However early on in this debate everything from NASA (and the rest of the world) was dismissed as absurd because it was deemed as a Photoshop creation, or a fish eye lens. If you are interested in a picture showing the curvature here ya go.
@Coveny Dude, an image showing a flat Horizon, from the height we are told we can see curvature? I'm starting to think you've secretly conceded your position about the globe.

I thought it was pretty clear when I said the picture was garbage what I was trying to say. Um the picture is a bad picture. I'm sorry but there is only a certain level a stupid I can go down to when explaining things, if you have a problem with "That picture is garbage" I'm not sure how much more I can break it down for you.
Or if your finally rebuttal is image quality, here we go.
Well that's better quality, and it does appear to be flat. So I guess airplane glass and whatever other BS you've claimed forces the curve didn't "work" this time? What is that black line over the clouds that looks like superman? No really nothing leaves a black line...
On a serious note where did you get the picture, who took it, blah, blah, blah. This could easily be shopped, so I'd prefer to go to the source of the picture rather just some random picture without context. What is it when they show who's had an item from someone famous? I can't remember the word they use for it for some reason. It's used to prove the authenticity of the item.
We are told we can see curvature from an airplane (from around 35,000 feet) or even from a top of a building. Meanwhile...
At both of these heights we should see significant curvature.

Is the picture from 121,000 feet good enough
Or are you going to continue to mutter "bs nuh uh garbage"

The hot air balloon footage looks like a photograph they moved a camera around on to me, it's 4 minutes of the clouds not moving. Given the large number of amateur videos out there of people with balloons capturing the curvature of the earth my assumption is they took one and shopped a picture of it.
As for you garbage picture the view area is so small it's about useless, and it's nothing but clouds which also makes it completely useless.
Number one picture of the earth from @coveny link above. This desert seems to cover 1/4 of the earth's surface! Or is this one of those fabricated mars pictures that got mixed in accidentally? Those tricky tricksters!

@SilverishGoldNova @Coveny says it's faked, only reason for the claim: "it's 4 minutes of the clouds not moving." Jebus titty f-ing chrise man, i don't see how you can continue on with that circular reasoning, from 20 miles away, unless we're looking at the eye of a hurricane, you won't see much cloud movement.

Modern astronomy has absolutely convinced the world, as George Bernard Shaw stated, that nothing that is obvious is true. It is obvious that the earth is flat, yet they say it's curved.
Obvious that the earth is motionless, yet they say we are moving through an infinite vacuum at 1,000 km per second in all manner of direction at a time.
It is obvious that the heavens revolve around us, yet they say we are the ones revolving.
Obvious that the stars are stars, but we are told they are more suns. Obvious that the stars are smaller than the sun, but we are told the opposite. Obvious that the sun and moon are the same size, though they say the sun is 400x bigger, and 400x further away. Obvious that we are living on the only "plane(t), but we're to believe there are over a septillian other places to go. It's blatantly obvious that up is up and down is down, yet they say it isn't so.

“The ice-barrier, so frequently referred to in accounts of the Antarctic regions, is the fore-front of the enormous glacier-covering, or ice-cap, which, accumulating in vast, undulating fields from the heavy snowfall, and ultimately attaining hundreds, if not thousands, of feet in thickness, creeps from the continent of Antarctica into the polar sea. The ice-barrier, yet a part of the parent ice-cap, presents itself to the navigator who has boldness enough to approach its fearful front, as a solid, perpendicular wall of marble-like ice, ranging from one thousand to two thousand feet in thickness, of which from one hundred to two hundred feet rises above, and from eight hundred to eighteen hundred feet sinks below, the level of the sea.” -Greely, General A. W. “Antarctica, or the Hypothetical Southern Continent.” Cosmopolitan 17 (1894): p. 296

If the Earth is flat, then how do you explain WW2? How do you explain the Russian Empire? How do you explain time zones? If you don't believe the government or NASA, then what about the countless reports of seeing curvature while flying on a plane? When boats go further into the sea, our view suggests that they "sink" into the water, but when we go on elevated ground we can see the boats normal again. There are many reports of this from non-government sources as well. How come every single one of these proofs happen to be a fabrication by the government, but every single one of your proofs happen to not be fabrications. I can simply say that all of your proofs are propaganda and all of our proofs are valid.

@1Hacker0 "If the Earth is flat, then how do you explain WW2? How do you explain the Russian Empire? "
First explain how these are in any way relevant.
"How do you explain time zones?"
"If you don't believe the government or NASA, then what about the countless reports of seeing curvature while flying on a plane?"
A commercial airliner typically goes around 35,000 feet. This is the height we are told we can start seeing curvature.
121,000 and 317,000 feet. At both of these heights we should see curvature. The reason we see curvature at the height of a plane is the curved glass artificially curves the Earth.
"When boats go further into the sea, our view suggests that they "sink" into the water, but when we go on elevated ground we can see the boats normal again"
So, you've in 1 way refuted the boats over the horizon argument.
"How come every single one of these proofs happen to be a fabrication by the government, but every single one of your proofs happen to not be fabrications."
NASA imagery has been proven to be false, via NASA's own admission! They say that all of the images they take are just composities, paintings, or CGI.

I didn't claim to debunk flat earth. It would be like claiming to have debunked wizards. I only started the smack talk and insult after they were directed at me, same holds true for the BS, nun uh, clouds, and Photoshop, you dingbats have no problem dismissing science with that crap, but cry fowl when someone uses the same techniques to dismiss your drivel? On a serious note where did you get the picture, who took it, blah, blah, blah. This could easily be shopped, so I'd prefer to go to the source of the picture rather just some random picture without context. What is it when they show who's had an item from someone famous? I can't remember the word they use for it for some reason. It's used to prove the authenticity of the item.

We are told we can see curvature from an airplane (from around 35,000 feet) or even from a top of a building. Meanwhile...
At both of these heights we should see significant curvature.
"I thought it was pretty clear when I said the picture was garbage what I was trying to say. Um the picture is a bad picture. I'm sorry but there is only a certain level a stupid I can go down to when explaining things, if you have a problem with "That picture is garbage" I'm not sure how much more I can break it down for you." I was talking about the image you showed.
Also, if your only rebuttal to this image is image quality,
Is the picture from 121,000 feet good enough
Or are you going to continue to mutter "bs nuh uh garbage"

I thought you were arguing that it was bad because of the image quality?
"It's a picture, the proof that it's absurd is in the picture. I can show you many many pictures of the curvature of the earth that are good enough quality to discern the curvature just ask."
The fact that it is all clouds does not change whether it appears flat or round. If you have suddenly decided to jump to field of view, this is the same footage, but you see a wider field of view.
